Get ready for giant candy fun! The Library's front room will be transformed to a life-size Candyland game board, and you may even meet some of your favorite game characters. For family and friend groups of all ages.

A fun take-home project available for pick up the first week of each month. Packs come with most of the needed supplies to complete the activity. This month participants will make napkin decoupage coasters.

This exhibit is a collection of pieces by the students of Tingting Beck’s Sunflower Fine Art Studio, located in Waukee. Students range in ages from 4 to 16 years old and are all from the Des Moines metro area.

This class serves as a broad introduction to setting up and getting started on a new smartphone. Topics include: the anatomy of an iPhone, navigating the Home Screen, Contacts, Messages, Camera as well as how your phone uses data.

Gather a team of up to four and put your skills to the test in this high-speed puzzle competition! Each group will tackle the same 500-piece puzzle, racing against the clock and each other to be the first to finish.

Are you looking for a new and exciting way to connect with Nature? Come learn the basics of identifying birds. Dallas County Conservation Naturalist Mike Havlik will help take the mystery out of backyard birds.
