Calling all crafty engineers! Drop-in and get creative with the Library's LEGO collection or make a Perler bead design. Elementary-aged students should be accompanied by an adult during the program.

The Waukee Public Library Board is governed by a seven-member Board of Trustees. The trustees are appointed by the Mayor for a three-year term, limited to two consecutive terms. Residency in Waukee city limits is required for appointment.

This hands-on class focuses on simple changes that personalize your phone to your needs and make it easier to use.

Adults ages 18+ are invited to drop-in anytime between 10-11:30 AM to play a fun and friendly game of Rummikub! Whether you're a seasoned player or new to the game, all skill levels are welcome.

This exhibit, with art by Stephanie Majeran, explores the organic beauty of nature through bold colors, diverse textures, and the interplay of natural and repurposed materials.

A fun take-home project available for pick up the first week of each month. Packs come with most of the needed supplies to complete the activity. This month participants will make mosaic photo frames. 

The city of Waukee does a wonderful job funding our Waukee Public Library but when the community wants more, unexpected needs arise, or when innovations in library systems require more capital than is available, the Friends Foundation helps. 

Do you want to practice speaking English? Come talk with other adults in a small group. This is not a class. It is a time to speak, listen, and learn together. Everyone is welcome.
