A fun take-home project available for pick up the first week of each month. Packs come with most of the needed supplies to complete the activity. This month students will make Tied Fleece Blankets. 

This exhibit is a collection of pieces by the students of Tingting Beck’s Sunflower Fine Art Studio, located in Waukee. Students range in ages from 4 to 16 years old and are all from the Des Moines metro area.

Students are invited to participate on the Library’s Teen Advisory Board (TAB).

Come and make a craft that is suitable for everyone! We will all start with the same supplies and idea, but everyone’s creations will be unique. This month get creative by wrapping colorful yarn around cardboard letters.

Bring a friend or make new ones at these programs for teens. Try your hand at a different activity each month. This month, we will make Small Charcuterie Boards.

Bring your current read, a favorite book, or one you just have to talk about to this roundtable book discussion. This is a chill space to hang out, eat dinner, and swap book recs with other teens.

Bring your friends and family and join us to listen and learn about world cultures!  A different cultural ambassador will present each month.

Middle grade students are invited to discover a different fun craft project each month. This month create Football Mini Bags.
