This exhibit is a collection of pieces by the students of Tingting Beck’s Sunflower Fine Art Studio, located in Waukee. Students range in ages from 4 to 16 years old and are all from the Des Moines metro area.

A fun take-home project available for pick up the first week of each month. Packs come with most of the needed supplies to complete the activity.

Pick up an activity pack that includes book suggestions and an early learning activity to complete at home! Available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

For kids 2-5 years old with adult supervision.

Build early literacy skills with 15-20 minutes of songs, rhymes, and books followed by playtime.

For infants 0-17 mo. and their caregivers.

Join Miss Erica from Dallas County Conservation for stories and activities to learn more about animals.

Each month explore a fascinating true story, followed by an extended learning activity. Kids don’t need to read the book in advance. Caregivers aren’t required to stay in the room for this program.

Children ages 0-5 years and their caregivers are invited to drop in the front program rooms and play with a variety of the library’s toys to build social and early literacy skills.
