A fun take-home project available for pick up the first week of each month. Packs come with most of the needed supplies to complete the activity. This month kids will use optical illusions to decode secret messages.

Marybeth Heikes' still lifes express the visual excitement of the fluid medium, watercolor.  My goal is to create an interesting and pleasing painting by combining patterns, shapes, saturated colors and values in a strong design.

Meet in the Library’s Coal Mine Meeting Room at 2:30 PM on the first Thursday of each month for a lively discussion. Copies of each month’s book may be picked up at the Library’s front desk or during the meeting, while supplies last.
