Snacks & Facts: What's Driving Our Roads?

No time to attend an evening or weekend program? Try our Snacks & Facts series. We’ll have a speaker the first Friday of each month (except December and July). Come ready to learn, and we’ll provide the snacks! Stick around afterward for Waukee Parks & Recreation’s bingo at 1 PM for $1.10 per play.  

Roads get us from here to there, but have you wondered how the roads got there? Waukee Public Works will talk about how they make important road design decisions like intersection or roundabout, or stop light instead of stop sign. You’ll also get a look at how the city plans years, and sometimes decades, ahead to keep Waukee moving as it grows.

For adults ages 18+.
