Snacks & Facts: Picking Priorities in the City Budget

No time to attend an evening or weekend program? Try our Snacks & Facts series. We’ll have a speaker the first Friday of each month (except December and July). Come ready to learn, and we’ll provide the snacks! Stick around afterward for Waukee Parks & Recreation’s bingo at 1 PM for $1 per play.  

How would YOU spend city funds? City Administrator Brad Deets will share where the City gets funding, and you can try allocating a budget based on your understanding of priorities and needs for Waukee. Then he will show you how the current budget is divided to cover the many services and programs the City delivers for our community and talk about some important projects and priorities for the coming years.
